CCAFT News – March/April 2026
Is your child being bullied?
When your child tells you they’re being bullied… your response matters more than you think.
Listen first
A calm, supportive approach can make all the difference.
Reassure them
“This is not your fault.” Remind them they did the right thing by telling you.
Support, don’t take over
Ask: “What would you like to happen?” Work together to find a way forward.
Take the next step
Reach out to the school and explore support options when needed.
Keep checking in
Support doesn’t stop after one conversation. Let them know you’re always there.
They don’t need all the answers… they just need you.
